Fast Food Obesity Is Preventable If You Learn To Change Your Family's Lifestyle

|
Fast food obesity in children and adults are preventable but parents are unable to change their way of living. How to prevent or stop fast food obesity  is to discourage your family including yourself from eating fast food and watching a lot of television or committing to much time to playing video games.

You and your children require activities that take physical effort to  participate in. Those will increase your metabolic process for a healthier life. Cooking food  at home that are rich in vitamins and protein instead of feeding them with fast food is another way to prevent or stop child obesity.

You should give your children fruits and vegetables. Stop feeding them candy every time they ask for snacks. Children should not be constantly exposed to junk food advertisements on the television. Find a way to save them from the exposure of junk food advertisement on Television.

It is your duty to educate them and ensure that you buy from the supermarket only healthy food stuff. Give them juice and not soda, and cook food with more vitamins than sugar.

These are the basic ways to stop or prevent obesity in your children, there are several more tips you can use to keep obesity away from your family – see my resource box. You should constantly encourage them to eat right while engaging in physical exercises. Promote all you know about healthy eating and living to both children and parents in your community.

Having said all that, obesity can be due to genetic  disorder. Some individuals are lacking or resistant to the actions of a protein called leptin. It is this protein that informs your brain that you are fed preventing you from overeating.

Studies done on mice show that mice lacking leptin or resistant to it become obese and can eat themselves to death in most cases.  Some obese individuals have been found to have these same leptin defects.

Clearly, obesity in some kids are not due to their parents' fault. Though it is possible that genetic defects are responsible some cases of fast food obesity. Go to Fast Food Obesity Control for more information.
